What is a typical day for an intern at Aprio?
Our interns work full-time and are treated as first-year associates. At the beginning of the internship, interns go through a week of training on how to prepare tax returns and the process for working on an engagement. They are exposed to and trained in all the software that Aprio uses. After training, interns are placed on a team to work within a specific industry within tax or assurance. Tax interns focus and familiarize themselves with many different areas of tax, including 1099s and 1040s. You will benefit from a diverse client base, one-on-one contact with clients and partners, and have the opportunity to develop a solid general foundation. Assurance interns get the opportunity to work on engagements from start to finish, touching all parts of an audit.
